A great big thanks to all the staff of Englehart Hospital from Lorena Wraight and her boys Art, Clayt and Lorne Austen for the tender loving care during Lorena's recent stay while recuperating from a hip fracture.

The very professional nursing and friendly, cordial support staff were much appreciated.

Hello friendly people of Englehart. I miss that town. I come to visit at least twice a year, and I love it. The friendly people, laid back life is great. If you see Rob Selman and the Selman family say Hello to them.

We drove through Ontario a few years ago and spent the night at a camp ground in your town. We also went to the library and spoke to a fellow in charge I believe, about the town's beginning. We moved from eastern Canada to western in 1970 and have gone back numerous times, but only twice by road. Once with our motorhome and once again by car. We were interested in your town because of our family name. We have photos of my husband standing under the sign "Englehart River". We loved that little town and hope to visit again someday. Sincerely, Charlotte and Vernon Englehart Cranbrook, British Columbia.

I would like to thank Dr. Blunt and the staff of the Englehart & District Hospital for their outstanding professional and personal care they gave my Dad, Earl Collingridge over the past few years, then finally on that last evening, Oct. 8th when he had a final and severe stroke. He passed away Oct. 9th/04 at 4:30 a.m. The staff that was on that evening were so understanding. I just wanted to thank-you and to let you know that your hard work does not go un-noticed.

Thank-you from the bottom of our hearts.

Earl Collingridge's family, Mom, Judy, Dave, Sue, Debbie & Bunny Judy

We are thinking about relocating up to your area but we are wondering if there are nursing positions to support a move so far away? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Englehart Hospital, My name is Michael McCleary, my mother is Lillian McCleary from Mississauga, Ontario. A couple of weeks ago my uncle, Dr. Geordie Gibbon passed away. My mother (his sister) was at the funeral. She told me that an Honor Guard of nurses and staff from the hospital were at the entrance to the church. She was so very pleased and said it brought tears to her eyes. I thank you from myself and the rest of the family. It meant so much to us.

With fondest regards, Michael McCleary

Good afternoon! I decided to visit your site and it's excellent! And while I'm at it, I'd like to tell you how much I appreciate the extraordinary work that everyone does at the hospital. Keep it up! My prayers are also with everyone while during this difficult period of the SARS outbreak. And of course, my prayers are with you always. Let me know if there's anything at all in which I may be of assistance. Peace to all, Linda J. Martin (the pedestrian minister!!!)
